Architecture for All is a new organisation set up by architectural historian and outreach producer Claire Cooke. With a board of trustees consisting of architects, arts education professionals and teachers, our ambition is to open up the practice and knowledge of architecture and its history to a wider public, through schools and family workshops, talks, screenings, exhibitions & public events.
The aim of Architecture for All is to:
- cultivate an interest in architecture, urban planning & their history among non-experts
- create opportunities for the wider community to engage with architecture & built environment professionals
- use the design process, history of buildings & creative activities to generate questions about our surroundings & their construction
- highlight pathways into careers in architecture & the built environment.
